Born in 1979, Lubrina Burton enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1997 as a junior at Knox Central High School and was assigned to the 400th Quartermaster Company. In January 2000, Burton’s active duty service began. She was stationed with the 240th Quartermaster Company in Bamberg, Germany. After being honorably discharged in July 2001, Burton earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Kentucky University and moved to Lexington. In 2023, her debut book, Shitbag Soldier, was published by Erudite Press.
