Captain Theodore Insko, Jr.

Captain Theodore Insko was an Army Reservists who was ordered to active duty in November 1961. He served two years of active duty, including a year overseas, before returning to the Army Reserve until 1969.

After his service, Insko was a licensed life insurance agent, before a 30 year career with IBM in Lexington. He developed the IBM China Procurement Office in Hong Kong. After his retirement from IBM, Insko held positions with the Frankfort Fish and Wildlife Department, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, and the Kentucky Conference Credit Union.  He was an active community member and was elected president of the local chapter of the Jaycees in the 1970s. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows, a girls softball coach, and a church member.
