Petty Officer Phil Morgan served honorably on two nuclear fast attack submarines. His second submarine, USS Parche, is the most decorated naval ship in US Navy history with nine Presidential Unit Citations. Phil was in the Navigation / Operations department and was responsible for operating and repairing a variety of equipment including radar, periscope and surveillance systems.
Morgan moved to Lexington in 2013 for a corporate marketing job at Valvoline. In 2017, he started a home care business caring for seniors. His company is a VA approved vendor caring for our central Kentucky veterans. Phil is active in the local veteran community, including as a VP with the Navy League, Central Kentucky and chair for Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony. Phil is also a member of American Legion, US Submarine Veterans, Inc., and Vietnam Veterans of America (Associate).
